Trial and evaluation
AIDA64 Extreme includes a 30-day trial. For AIDA64 Network Audit or Business, request a free test license for a fully functional 30-day evaluation. With a valid license you can upgrade to new stable or beta releases while your maintenance is active. Check your license at License Checker or renew maintenance.

Installer vs Portable (ZIP)
Windows editions are available as a self-installing EXE or a portable ZIP. The EXE installs to Program Files and adds Start Menu entries; the ZIP can be extracted to any folder or USB drive and run without installation. Use portable if you want to run from a network share, USB, or avoid installing on each PC. Activation with a license key may require Administrator when using the EXE (to write pkey.txt); the portable version can be run from a folder where you have write access.
Stable vs Beta
Stable builds are recommended for most users. Beta builds include the latest fixes and new hardware support but may have undiscovered issues. Use beta if you need support for very new hardware or want to test upcoming features. You can switch back to stable at any time. Both use the same license key.
Updating and License Validity
If you have a valid license and your maintenance period is active, you can download and use the latest stable or beta release. When maintenance expires, you can continue using the last version that was released during your maintenance, but you cannot install newer versions until you renew. Check your status at License Checker and renew here.
